As founder of Schmidt Market Research in 1986, Al has been instrumental in leading the company to provide high-quality market research with a client-centric focus. After 28 years as president, Al has transitioned to a consulting role, ensuring the smooth transition of Schmidt to its new owner and president, Kevin Srigley.
Al received his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and earned his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to founding Schmidt, Al worked for 15 years at the Westinghouse Electric Corporation. Initially, Al held various engineering positions, but later transitioned to marketing and strategic planning.
