Since 2003, Gina has held dual roles at Schmidt, directing the firm’s marketing efforts, along with managing and moderating Schmidt’s qualitative projects. Her qualitative experience includes in-depth interviews and online bulletin board focus groups. Gina specializes in projects with complex subject matter, including wealth management, corporate banking, treasury management, small business banking, investor relations, and non-profit planned giving. Much of her work involves interviews with high-value and C-level respondents.
Gina has over 20 years experience in marketing management including strategy, brand management, communications, and business development for both for-profit and non-profit organizations including PNC Financial Services and Pittsburgh Mercy Health System (now UPMC Mercy).
Gina has a B.A. in criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a MEd in counseling psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Gina has completed courses in qualitative interviewing and qualitative analysis and reporting from the RIVA Training Institute. She is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals.
